Starling Bank is a fully-licensed UK digital bank built entirely on modern technology. Graduate engineers join one of Starling's product squads and contribute to the Java backend that powers banking for over 3 million customers.
What you'll be doing
- Build features across Starling's core banking platform
- Write high-quality Java code with full test coverage
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Contribute to reliability improvements and bug fixes
- Engage with customer feedback to drive product decisions

Required
CS degree or equivalentInterest in Java developmentEnthusiasm for banking and financial technologyTeam player with good communication
Nice to have
Experience with Spring BootKnowledge of banking regulationsPrevious internship in technology
